At Above The Rest Academy, your education should open doors far beyond the classroom. Our Entrepreneur Program is designed to help students build real businesses, not just earn a license. Students learn how to form a legal business structure such as an S Corp, C Corp, or LLC, register a business name, set up an EIN and a business bank account, and understand essential topics including taxes, branding, marketing, and organization. The program is presented step by step, so every student feels supported and confident.
To help students launch their careers with a strong foundation, the program also includes guidance on financial literacy, including budgeting, pricing, and profit planning. Students receive support in setting up social media pages, developing a posting strategy, and learning how to present themselves professionally online. Branding is another key component, with instruction on selecting brand colors, fonts, and a cohesive style that represents their business identity. Each student also gains access to a list of trusted vendors for software, supplies, and tools, along with a comprehensive guide to opening a business bank account and establishing business credit.
Students are encouraged to join monthly entrepreneur meetups and networking opportunities, where they can share ideas, ask questions, and connect with others who share their goals. The program also includes step-by-step support in creating a service menu and building a pricing structure that reflects their skills and market demand. To help students market themselves effectively, the academy offers a photoshoot day where they can gather professional images for business cards, flyers, and promotional materials.
Students will be issued official identification cards, which grant access to exclusive discounts with select partner brands. These discounts allow students to purchase affordable menus, business cards, banners, and other marketing materials, helping them confidently begin promoting their services. In addition, every student receives a comprehensive State Board crash course prior to testing, ensuring they are fully prepared, confident, and ready to pass.
Student Printing Services
Above The Rest Academy offers in-house printing services at discounted student rates. Students submit their own graphics or design files, and we handle all their printing needs. Available printing includes banners, flyers, posters, business cards, stickers, labels, tarps, large format prints, menus, service lists, promotional pieces, and other business materials. This service allows students to present their brand professionally with high-quality materials, quick turnaround times, and affordable pricing.
